Grinding, honing and polishing, explained
Diamond abrasives, working from coarse to fine. Grinding takes out scratches and lippage, honing flattens the surface, polishing brings the shine back from the stone itself rather than from a coating. Sealing afterwards on request.

Marble and granite questions
Is this the same as a floor cleaning service?
No. Cleaning removes what is on the stone. Polishing restores the stone itself. If your marble looks dull after being cleaned, this is the job you actually need.
Can you do it in an occupied lobby?
Yes. We section the area, work in phases and keep a walkway open. Most of our lobby work is done in occupied buildings.
Will it fix scratches and water marks?
Grinding removes scratches and etching. Deep chips are a repair rather than a polish, and we will tell you which you are looking at.
